Community Involvement

Here at Uncas Veterinary Clinic, we are not only interested in you and your pet’s well being, we are also dedicated to providing support in a variety of ways to our community!

Here are a few of the organizations we work with throughout the community.

The Strathcona Raptor Shelter

For years we have provided injured birds of prey the needed medical attention they need while under the care of SRS. From eagle fledglings to pelicans, we help ensure they will be able to be rehabilitated and returned to the wild when possible. See their website for more information about what they do!

Dr. Milton Ness Teddy Bear Hospital

Dreamnight at the Zoo is hosted every June at the Edmonton Valley Zoo. This is a event dedicated to helping the children and families of The Stollery Hospital have a worry free evening

Animal Rescue Associations

We have worked with and continue to work with numerous associations throughout the greater Edmonton area on an as needed basis. We often reach out to these organizations in times of need for our patients and clients.

Local Food Banks

Many families that use the food bank have pets. We donate food to local Food Banks that are in need for donations the most.

Our Own Fuzzy Fund

We often find ourselves in a position where we can lend a hand to a pet, client or both. Depending on the circumstances and situation, we will offer help where we can. The help provided varies from financial support through a partnering organization,Tails of Help, to having the pet surrendered to UVC to provide continued care. Check the UVC Critter page to see the most recent cases we have helped!
