Small Animal
Uncas is a full service canine reproduction facility. We are a CKC authorized semen collection, evalutation, freezing and storage facility. AI is routinely performed with fresh, chilled or frozen semen. Bitches are monitored from estrus through conception to whelping (including C-section if necessary). Pre natal ultrasounds and X-rays are performed in house.

Equine
Uncas can cycle, monitor and inseminate (chilled) your mare(s). This service can be performed on the farm or in house. Mares can be foaled out at our hospital under a doctors care.
Llamas and Alpacas
Dr. Schlingman has provided extensive reproductive services on camelids throughout Alberta for the last 20 years. Ultrasound evaluation, biopsies, evalutation, dystocias, c-section, plasma harvesting storage and infusions are a few of the services offered. Dr. Schlingman's special interest in this area has led her to be a much sought after public speaker on these topics.
